Lost

February 9, 2008 at 7:12 am (Music/Poetry, Philosophy, Rants, Society)

Sky scrapers
Concrete wastelands
Forever lost in a sea of decadence
Searching, seeking
We are lost
A crumbling society
We are all lost
Buried by ignorance
Cold, cruel uncaring world
Unnatural in its essence
The path is lost
Will we ever find our way
Crumbling morals
A decaying garden
A rotten apple
When will it end?
A black sky
The stars are lost
They fear us
The old gods
Forgotten and hiding
Emptiness and hollow hearts
Removed, so far removed
We are artificial
We no longer walk the path
We drive the highways
We are lost, we are all doomed…

Long overdue

February 3, 2008 at 2:53 pm (General, Personal Life)

I am updating this Blog for the first time in quite a while. For a few reasons, this medium for expression had become as Stagnant and unproductive as my life had at the time, I was not moving anywhere or growing after a certain point. Around mid December I decided that I had to make some changes because nothing just happens, you must do for yourself if you ever wish to Gain. Nothing is given freely in this world, everything must be won or earned in some way or another. Read the rest of this entry »

Wolfskin, Bearskin & Spear

November 25, 2007 at 6:53 pm (Heathenry, Runes, Tradition)

I am still contemplating joining The Wolfbund, it has been a good few weeks since I decided that joining the Rune Gild probably wouldn’t be the best for me for various reasons (listed in updates of a previous blog). I am not too interested in overly large groups to begin with and since I’m usually against membership orgs I’ve decided that if I join a Rune group it will be The Wolfbund. The only problem I see with my membership into the Bund would be its philosophical leanings towards a Wolfcult and the Úlfhéðnar warrior tradition. I’ve talked to a few members, the head of the Bund and a very good friend of mine who is basically a brother of different blood who has joined and nothing has really put me off. Modern Man

November 13, 2007 at 3:24 am (Philosophy, Quotes, Society)

The modern man has lost his connection to the soil of his forefathers. The modern man’s connection to his forefathers and the gods of his blood is lost too. He travels all across the Earth as a creature with no roots anywhere. He no longer grows his own food, he no longer catches his own fish or meat, he no longer milks the cows or collects eggs, berries, nuts, fruit and sea shells from nature. He no longer builds his own home or buries his own kin. He has lost his respect for nature, for his fatherland and for his kin, but he has gained nothing. The soul of the modern man is dead. He has lost almost everything.

Shedding Skin

November 9, 2007 at 9:48 pm (Heathenry, Philosophy, Runes, Tradition)

Over the last few months I’ve been shedding my old skin. Shedding my skin as both a human being with self improvements; quiting smoking, controlling emotions for example and I have also been working on how I think and view things, trying to be a bit more open minded in terms of Ideas and practices. This became evident a few weeks ago when I talked to someone about the Left Hand Path and Dr. Stephen Flowers’ philosophy and Involvement with the Temple of Set.

Killing The Beast

November 8, 2007 at 11:31 pm (General, Health)

Today it has been twenty four days since I decided to quit smoking and had my last Cigarette, I find it fitting that I write this blog today… the twenty fourth day. It feels great to have the beast off my back, thanks to two weeks of Nicoderm CQ Nicotine patches and keeping myself busy and preoccupied. I have tried to quit many times in the past and could never do it cold turkey.

The Rune Gild?

November 8, 2007 at 6:45 am (Heathenry, Runes, Tradition)

Over the last few days I have been thinking about joining Stephen Edred FlowersRune Gild (linked in my sidebar). Tonight it has really been on my mind and I felt like posting a blog about it to help settle my thoughts.

The Rune Gild itself is a school of Runic study, an International esoteric organization based on the practice of traditional Northern European magic using the runes of the Elder Futhark (and I think other Rune systems as well). For some time I’ve considered if this was something I would want to do. I have already had one bad experience when it came to Heathen / Pagan “Organizations” in the past and I don’t think I would want to have another, it ruined many friendships along with causing me much harm in my own personal spiritual and mental growth. For many years I would have never considered joining the Rune Gild because

He Knew

November 7, 2007 at 6:36 pm (Philosophy, Politics, Quotes, Society)

The essence of liberalism is individualism. The basis of its error is to mistake the notion of the person with that of the individual and to claim for the latter, unconditionally and according to egalitarian premises, some values that should rather be attributed solely to the former, and then only conditionally. Because of this transposition, these values are transformed into errors, or into something absurd and harmful.
